The Alamo Square History website is my attempt to begin to gather and present a visually engaging database of the various research that has been done over the years about the buildings, parks, streets, and residents of the Alamo Square Neighborhood. The impetus for this project was my own desire to learn more about the neighborhood I live in and my frustration with the current resources in existence. I hope that you enjoy the site and if you have comments, suggestions, or new information or assistance to offer please contact me.
I have included below some of my favorite Alamo Square and San Francisco History related links. Many of them are not historical in nature, but I think they are of interest to anyone living in the area.
